Today I would like to shine a spot light on acupuncture point Lieque (English translation Broken Sequence).  It also goes by the name Lung 7.  You can locate the point by using your thumb.  The width of your thumb is a measure used in acupuncture world, it is called a cun.  A thumb and a half (also known is 1.5 cun) above the wrist crease on the radial margin of the  forearm is where Lung 7 is located.  That means the narrow part of the bone of your forearm, you can end up there by having your finger follow from where your thumb attaches towards your forearm.  Check out www.acupuncture.com for more point location information, it even has cool pictures to help you find the point.

This acupuncture point is mega cool in what it can do.  Lung & (Lu7 for short) is used to treat head and neck pain, facial paralysis, tooth ache, some local thumb and index finger problems.  If that wasn’t enough when combined with other super cool point Kidney 6 (Kd6 for short) it can help with genitourinary and gynecological problems.

Check back next week for the next acupuncture point spotlight!  If there is a point you are curiouse about, send me an email, and I ll be happy to fiture it next!

with best wishes to all

Your acupuncturist,

Yuliya
